The latest Sony electronics, great design and attention to detail make our In-Car Video Systems far superior to other systems in their price range. The camera provides “better than broadcast quality” horizontal video resolution of 580 TV Lines, better than many portable recorders can capture. Other systems in this price range are limited to 480 TVL which makes a big difference especially when recording to MiniDV or DVD. Five different rugged and versatile camera mounts for each camera are included for the ultimate in setup flexibility. The “bullet” camera itself is 0.9’’ diameter by 3.6’’ long and weighs only 2 oz. to minimize vibration. The O-ring sealed camera also features a removable lens. You can easily change the focal length and field-of-view with inexpensive optional lenses. Powered microphones provide an excellent audio signal. The single camera system includes a battery pack for 8 AA batteries or it can get its power from the optional SDVR-600 or the SDVR-800 solid state digital video recorder. Two camera system includes a vehicle power adapter. Systems include a modular wiring harness with sealed screw-type connectors, thorough instructions, and a foam-lined carrying case completes these remarkable systems. Everything is included except the actual recording device.

Any device that accepts an external Audio/Video signal using standard RCA style connectors will work such as a Digital Camcorder or either of our Solid-State Digital Video Recorders, sold separately.
